Cops: Surviving victim arrested in fatal double shooting

By Angel K. Brooks

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

A man was arrested Monday for a November shooting that left two men dead in southwest Atlanta.

Broderick Allen, 25, is in the Fulton County Jail facing murder charges, Atlanta police said.

Officers found two men — Miguel Hayes and Anthony Jackson, both 25 — fatally shot inside a vehicle in the 3600 block of Asbury Lane SW on the afternoon of Nov. 21. Allen, the surviving victim, was treated at Grady Memorial Hospital for a gunshot wound to his hand, police said.

Homicide investigators developed probable cause to charge Allen in the incident, authorities said.
