Police need the public’s help to identify two persons of interest in a deadly home invasion in northwest Atlanta last week.
Jerrick Jackson, 47, was shot multiple times in the torso early last Tuesday as he tried to fight off robbers attempting to force their way into his Lowe Street residence, police said. He was the younger brother of Gospel Tabernacle Cathedral’s Bishop Wiley Jackson.
The persons of interest use the nicknames “Tre-Tre” and “Big Poppa” and are 16 to 20 years old, Atlanta police Officer John Chafee said. They both frequent the Four Seasons/Thomasville area south of downtown Atlanta, police said.
