Two political leaders will address University of West Georgia graduates May 7, officials announced Friday.

House Speaker David Ralston, R-Blue Ridge, will serve as the commencement speaker for the morning ceremony and U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., will fill that role for the afternoon ceremony. Both will be held on campus.

The morning event honors graduates from the colleges of business, social sciences, arts and humanities and science and math. The afternoon ceremony is for education, nursing and graduate school graduates.
