Fulton high school starts mentoring program for homeless students

A mentoring program sponsored by StandUp for Kids has begun operations at McClarin High School in College Park. The semester-long program at the Fulton County school, dubbed The Fulton Effect, matches homeless students with volunteer mentors to provide support and encouragement to the students to stay in school, improve their self-esteem and appreciate the importance of education and employment.
