Cobb school officials distribute thousands of donated books

Cobb Schools’ Library Media Education department distributed more than 10,400 books this summer to students involved in the MUST Ministries Summer Lunch program, officials said. The department’s staff launched the book drive a year ago when they encouraged Cobb citizens to donate books to the effort. Hundreds of Cobb students involved in the program received a book to read, keep or share this summer.
