By Nancy Badertscher

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Eagle’s Landing High School AP Literature and Composition teacher Barbara Rosolino has been named a finalist for the state’s top teaching honor. The news was announced by State Superintendent John Barge. Rosolino, a 34-year teaching veteran, was named Teacher of the Year for Henry County Schools at a ceremony last October. “I am indebted to my friends, my parents, my brothers, my children, and most especially, my husband for their encouragement and support,” Rosolino said. “I would like to acknowledge their influence and patience in helping me realize my dream to teach high school English.”
