The River Eves Education Foundation’s spring fundraiser, “Party Like a Rock Star” sold out Saturday. It drew 175 people to the premier Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell and raised more than $46,000. All proceeds from the event will go to technology investments at River Eves Elementary School in Roswell. This includes the hiring of a part-time technology coach to support the integration of technology into the curriculum and enhance the overall academic experience. A Lawrenceville pastor wants his congregation to know the good news about the Gospel of Mark. Dean Sweetman, senior pastor of the C3 Church, has challenged his members and anyone else interested to read the New Testament book in its entirety over the next year and post Instagram photos of their notes.
