Orlando man found shot multiple times in SW Atlanta

Authorities have identified a man who was killed during a midday shooting on a southwest Atlanta street Saturday.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified the dead man as Antwan Inzar, 24, of Orlando, Fla., on Sunday.

Inzar was mortally wounded in the shooting that occurred at Cooper Street and Eugenia Street around 1 p.m., according to Atlanta police.

When police arrived at that location, they found the man with multiple wounds, lying in front of an abandoned apartment building.

He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to police spokesman Officer John Chafee, witnesses saw a man running from the scene after the gunfire.
