Armed robbery, fire reported at Woodstock game store

By Alexis Stevens

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Police believe several suspects robbed a Cherokee County game store late Sunday morning and then set the building on fire.

Investigators were called to the Play N Trade store at 2990 Eagle Drive around 11:45 a.m. to investigate a possible armed robbery, according to Sgt. Randy Milligan with Woodstock police. Officers arrived to find the store on fire, Milligan said.

One person, whose name was not released, was in stable condition after being injured in the fire, according to police.

Investigators were searching for three to four suspects Sunday afternoon, Milligan said.

Woodstock police and firefighters were investigating the incident.
