A rapper who performed at an Arkansas nightclub where gunfire erupted early Saturday injuring 28 people, has been arrested on unrelated assault charges in Alabama, Little Rock police said.

Ricky Hampton, also known as Finese Twotymes, 25, was arrested on an outstanding aggravated assault charge with a gun at a club in Birmingham, Alabama where he was playing the night after the shooting at the Power Ultra Lounge in Little Rock.

Rapper Ricky Hampton, also known as Finese Twotymes, was arrested in Alabama early Sunday on an outstanding assault warrant, a day after a shooting at one of his concerts in Little Rock, Ark., the U.S. Marshal Service said.

Hampton sent out condolences to the victims on his Facebook page after the shooting, saying, "PRAYERS GO TO THE INNOCENT PEOPLE AND THERE FAMILY THAT CAME OUT TO SUPPORT ME, LAST NIGHT IN LITTLE ROCK ARK. THE VIOLENCE IS NOT FOR THE CLUB PEOPLE. WE ALL COME WITH 1 MOTIVE AT THE END OF THE DAY, AND THATS TO HAVE FUN. NOT TO BE HURT. "

Police have said they believe multiple guns were fired inside the Little Rock lounge and that they believe it may be gang related.

Twenty-five people between the ages of 16 and 35 were shot, and three others were hurt after the shooting.

No arrests have been made in the shooting, police said, but the club has been served an eviction notice and city officials said they plan to shut it down under a “criminal abatement” program.
