School yearbook lists Bush, Cheney among "Top 5″ worst people
For the AJC
An Arkansas middle school is in hot water after its yearbook listed former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney among the "Top 5 worst people of all time."
Election 2012: Across the nation
Parents of students at Russellville Middle School were outraged when the yearbook said Bush and Cheney ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, after Nazi leader Adolph Hitler (1), terrorist Osama Bin Laden (2) and mass killer Charles Manson (3).
School Superintendent Randall Williams said the list, which he called "an oversight", was taken from a website and that students had not voted on it. After it was discovered, the publisher hid the list with black tape.
"I'm furious as a parent and as a board member and as a tax payer and as a resident of Russellville," Chris Cloud told, WEWS television station. "It's wrong."
The superintendent said the yearbook editing process is under review.
