The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

A Douglas County man is accused of trying to run over his wife during an argument, the sheriff's office said Tuesday.

Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Douglas County Sheriff's Office Christian Eugene Hicks, 25, is being held without bond after allegedly trying to run over his wife.

Christian Eugene Hicks, 25, of Douglasville, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, battery, DUI and family violence, said Maj. Tommy Wheeler with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. "It could have really been bad," Wheeler told the AJC.

Hicks tried to run over his wife in the driveway of the couple's home and push her head through a window, Wheeler said. The man denied the allegations, the sheriff's major said.

Hicks was arrested Friday and was being held without bond Tuesday in the Douglas County Jail.
