The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A man who drove his SUV into a Douglas County home Saturday night, killing a grandfather and injuring two others, was arrested Monday afternoon, police said.
The Georgia State Patrol have charged 47-year-old William Gray Stuart with vehicular homicide, driving under the influence of alcohol, two counts of serious injury by vehicle, wreckless driving, failure to maintain a single lane and no proof of insurance.
George Michael Bryant, 60, was killed. His wife Joyce and their 9-year-old granddaughter were hospitalized with their injuries, but are recovering, family members said.
Stuart is being held at the Douglas County Jail and will face a judge Tuesday morning for a bond hearing, authorities said.
