Man accused of slicing cat's throat in custody

A Braselton man accused of slicing a cat’s throat has turned himself in, according to WSB-TV.com.
Gwinnett County Sheriff's officials said that on June 18, Andrew Shields, 22, attacked a cat with a knife, severing its right jugular vein and slicing the cat’s thigh.
Department said a man has turned himself in on charges he attacked a cat with a knife.
The cat, named Bob, was taken into emergency surgery and survived, according to reports.
Shields made arrangements to turn himself in on Thursday after learning of a warrant being obtained for his arrest. He has a bond of $1,300 and is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail.
