A 77-year-old woman says someone stole a truck from her driveway with important belongings inside.
Shirley Rolle has lived in her home on Cascade Road for 35 years. She said she is known for her business selling paraphernalia at conventions and meetings.
"Masonic items, Eastern Star items, sorority and fraternity and church items," Rolle said.
She said Wednesday night, someone stole her truck with those items inside, as well as the mobile scooter she needs to get around.
"I just felt uneasy. A couple of nights ago, I heard a lot of noise outside and I think the dogs frightened them away and they came back," Rolle said. "I feel sick and I feel that it was someone who knew me."
Rolle said she can't eat or sleep because her business was hurt, and so was her independence and mobility. She said Medicare won't cover another scooter.
"It's going to take a minute because I have to replace the items and the other things too, particularly the truck and the trailer. The stolen truck is a white 2012 Ford E350 Econoline van with a 16-foot trailer and disability license plate.
"I'm upset and anybody would be upset with the idea that they would come in your driveway and take it and I'm just asking anyone who has knowledge to contact me or Channel 2," Rolle said.
She is offering a reward for information that will help her find her truck.
