A woman was struck by a car and killed Saturday night while crossing Lawrenceville Highway, DeKalb County police said.
The woman appeared to be in her late 20s to early 30s, but police have not yet been able to identify her, police spokesman Lt. Lonzy Robertson said.

The incident happened just before 10 p.m. on Lawrenceville Highway at Montreal Road in Tucker.
The driver who struck the pedestrian stayed on the scene and was not charged with a crime, Robertson said.
