Dapper Atlantans with three-piece Easter suits and spring dresses all laid out, will need one more accessory — an umbrella.
Rain is in the forecast for this Easter Sunday, which will bring temperatures down. But metro Atlanta will still get up close to 70 degrees.
If you can weather the storms, there will be no shortage of Easter festivities and church services.
Here’s everything you need to know about traffic, events and weather on this weekend:
Expect fewer traffic delays than normal this weekend
One northbound and one southbound lane on the east side of the I-285 perimeter will close between the I-20 interchange (exit 46) and the I-85 interchange (exit 33) from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
All westbound lanes on Freedom Parkway will close at Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The closure includes the westbound Freedom Parkway entrance, entrance ramps to the I-75/I-85 interchange and Andrew Young International Boulevard.
And a traffic pace on Ga.-400 will take place between Glenridge Connector and Lenox Road from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. The traffic pace may require motorists to drive 5 to 10 mph for work across interstate lanes.

Weekend to see temps rise then fall, rain Sunday
Warm, then cool and rainy weather is on the way.
Highs will reach 76 degrees Saturday before dropping to 69 degrees Saturday evening. And lows will increase from 50 degrees Saturday to 59 degrees Sunday.
The more noticeable weather condition however, will be rain. There is an 80 percent chance of showers on Sunday. Rain is expected to hit the metro area in the morning and last through the afternoon and evening hours, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologists.
Rain may dampen plans to hide eggs behind bushes and between tall blades of grass for the kiddies.
But the wet weather could come with a silver lining in the form of a diminished pollen count, which Friday reached the highest level of the season.
Friday's count was 3,720 particles of pollen per cubic meter of air.
Counts typically decrease with rain, said Stanley Fineman, past president of the Atlanta Allergy & Asthma practice.
“It is difficult to predict pollen counts, but if the weather stays warm and dry then the pollen will probably be high,” he added.

Easter events on weekend agenda
Easter Sunday church services will take place at 7:30, 9 and 11 a.m. at Mount Paran Church in Atlanta; at 7:30, 9:30 and 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta; at 11 a.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church in Stockbridge; and at 7, 10 and 11:30 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta.
There will also be a jazz worship service at 8:30 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
And in a break from Easter festivities, the Atlanta Hawks play the Milwaukee Bucks at 8 p.m. Friday at the Philips Arena.
