Sugar Hill votes to require auto collision rooftop intake and exhaust be painted to match building.

Following a recent public hearing, the Sugar Hill City Council voted 3 to 2, with council members Gajewski and Hembree voting no, to require Sugar Hill Auto Collision to paint the roof top intake and exhaust a color to match the building.

The city received an application from Doug Duffee requesting design review board approval for the roof top intake and exhaust required for the paint booths at the newly constructed building at 1090 Old Cumming Road located within the Town Center Overlay District. The intake and exhaust were silver metal. To meet design standards for the Town Center Overlay District, the structures needed to be screened or painted to match the building.
