Roswell will again offer a safe place for children to try out their new toys this holiday season – specially barricaded areas in the parking lots of four city parks from Dec. 25 through Jan. 8.

The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department will set up Holiday Toy Safe-Play Areas at Roswell Area Park, 10495 Woodstock Road, next to the football/multi-use fields; East Roswell Park, 9000 Fouts Road, by the sprayground; Waller Park Extension, 160 Dobbs Drive, next to the playground; Hembree Park, 850 Hembree Road, by the playground; and Waller Park Recreation Center, 250 Oak Street, by the restrooms and concession stands.

“Families can bring bikes, scooters, skateboards, remote-control vehicles and other toys that require safe, open spaces,” the city says. Adult supervision is highly recommended, as the play areas will not be staffed by the city.
