Roswell candidates’ debate set for Nov. 28

A debate has been set for the evening of Nov. 28 for six mayoral and City Council candidates in the Dec. 5 runoff election in Roswell.

The debate will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest St. Its hosts are Positively Roswell, Roswell Next and the Roswell Community Masjid. The candidates are Lori Henry and Lee Jenkins for mayor; Sean Groer and Mike Nyden in the Post 3 council race; and Council Post 6: Matt Judy and Karen Parrish in the Post 6 race.

Candidates will answer random questions submitted by candidates who ran but did not get elected or make the runoff, as well as questions submitted at Positively Roswell's website, http://bit.ly/2znzjjs. For those who can't attend the debate, a video feed will be offered live and recorded at Positively Roswell's Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/proRoswell/
