Repairs to close southwest Atlanta road 24 hours a day for two weeks

Part of a southwest Atlanta road will be closed for 15 days beginning this week, according to a city press release.

Crews will repair a storm drain pipe on Mt. Gilead Road SW, resulting in the 24-hour road closure.

The closure will take place between Campbellton Road SW and Dale Lane SW from Wednesday until Feb. 14.

The detour for drivers will be from Mt. Gilead Road SW onto Dale Lane SW to Country Club Drive SW, then Campbellton Road SW back onto Mt. Gilead Road SW.
