Johns Creek has called a town hall meeting to talk about proposed improvements to Medlock Bridge Road.

The meeting, to take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 22 at Johns Creek City Hall, 12000 Findley Road, will include a formal presentation and a question-and-answer session, officials said. The meeting also will be streamed online.

Plans call for increasing Medlock Bridge’s capacity by constructing three northbound lanes and three southbound lanes from Medlock Crossing Parkway to St. Ives Country Club Parkway/Grove Point Road.

According to a project map, this work represents the first phase of a five-phase proposal to improve Medlock Bridge for nearly its entire length through Johns Creek, from McGinnis Ferry Road on the north to the Chattahoochee River on the south, as well as a portion of State Bridge Road.
