North Fulton County cities will host community meetings with Fulton County in August to seek public comment on two transportation initiatives: The North Fulton Comprehensive Transportation Plan and the Fulton County Transit Master Plan.

Meetings will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. the following dates: Aug. 22, Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill Street; Aug. 23, Alpharetta City Hall, 2 Park Place; Aug. 24, Johns Creek City Hall, 12000 Findley Road; Aug. 28, Milton City Hall, 2006 Heritage Walk; and Aug. 29, Sandy Springs City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 500.

The same information will be shared at each meeting, according to Johns Creek, which announced the meetings.

The Comprehensive Plan will consider solutions including driving, riding public transit, bicycling and walking, as well as freight issues, in the 5-year near term and 25-year long term. The Transit Plan will review each city’s community and economic development strategies, analyze existing transit services and needs, and develop a financial model to determine the potential for future transit expansion.
