Atlanta Zoning Committee sets ‘quick fixes’ for work session

The Atlanta City Council Zoning Committee will hold a work session 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 28 at City of Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Ave.

In conjunction with its regular committee meeting, it will review quick fix updates to the Zoning Ordinance, according to a press release.

The Phase I amendments will include revisions to the provisions for individual zoning districts and subdivision regulations such as:

• Accessory Structure Height And Size

• Accessory Uses In Residential Districts

• Bicycle Parking

• Deletion Of Unused SPI Zoning Districts

• Independent Driveways Regulations

• Nonconforming Façade Heights

• Transfer Of Special Use Permits

• Sidewalk Standards In Conventional Zoning Districts

• Temporary Storage Containers

• Re-plat Nonconforming Lots

The Work Session will be held promptly following the disposal of Zoning Committee legislative items 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 28 at Atlanta City Hall, Committee Room, No. 1, 55 Trinity Ave, 2nd Floor.
