I-285 ramp reopens after truck fire

Police have reopened an Interstate 285 ramp in Sandy Springs.

Emergency workers closed the ramp from Roswell Road on to 285 East from 11:30 a.m. from 12:30 p.m. Saturday while they extinguished a tractor trailer on fire, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Sandy Springs Fire did not immediately return phone calls and no information was available on injuries.
