Police seek Stockbridge cigarette bandit

Henry County police are looking for a man accused of stealing more than $6,000 in cash and cigarettes from a Stockbridge convenience store.

Video surveillance shows a man break out the windows on Oct. 30, of the Shell gas station on 1150 Jodeco Road, according to police.

The man used a garbage can from inside the store to carry out 66 cigarette cartons, valued at about $2,700, police said.

He then returned to the store and broke into a back office where he took two boxes of cigarettes and about $3,500 in cash, police said.
