No one was seriously injured when a vehicle drove into a Norcross restaurant Saturday afternoon, Gwinnett County fire Capt. Tommy Rutledge said.

A 23-year-old woman, whose name was not released, hit a glass window of the Grand Buffet Chinese restaurant located in the 7000 block of Jimmy Carter Boulevard, near Holcomb Bridge Road, Rutledge said. She was not injured, he said.

A man inside the restaurant was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center for evaluation, Rutledge said.

There was no structural damage to the building, Rutledge said.

The driver was charged with violating the restrictions on her license, Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Edwin Ritter told the AJC. She is required to have a licensed driver with her when she drives, and she did not at the time of the crash, Ritter said.
