Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after being hit by a turning driver Thursday, according to Cpl. Brian Kelley, spokesman for Gwinnett County police. The victim is hospitalized at Gwinnett Medical Center.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Alton Tucker Boulevard and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard at 8:12 a.m. Thursday.

The motorcyclist was headed southbound on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard when a driver in a 2009 Chevy Trailblazer made a left turn onto Alton Tucker Boulevard, crashing into the victim.

No charges have been filed yet. The Gwinnett County police continue to investigate.
