The Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office Victim Witness Program will have its annual candlelight vigil for victims of crime Tuesday at the county courthouse in Lawrenceville. The event, which begins at 7 p.m., honors those killed as a result of violent crime and their surviving families.

This year’s featured speakers will be Molly Perry, executive director of the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, and Stan L. Hall, director of the Victim Witness Program for the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit. Musical selections and a performance by the Gwinnett Fire Department’s Bagpipe and Honor Guard will be included in this event.
