Gwinnett library board changes plans
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Gwinnett County Library Board of Trustees scrapped plans for a regional system and approved a measure that will keep neighborhood libraries open. The 3-0 vote was a victory for Dacula residents, who had waged a two-month battle against changes in the system. Under the revised plan, all 15 branches, including the new Hamilton Mill facility, will operate at reduced hours, but will remain full-service.
