Free swine flu vaccinations given today

Concerned about swine flu?

Bring your family to the East Metro Health District’s swine flu vaccination clinics today in Lawrenceville and Rockdale. Vaccinations will be given from 9 a.m. to noon at both locations.

The vaccine will be administered to those in priority groups: pregnant women, healthcare workers; anyone from 6 months to 24 years old; anyone from ages 25 to 64 with medical conditions that might put them at higher risk for flu-related complications; and people living with or caring for infants younger than six months.

The Lawrenceville Health Center is located at 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 300. The Rockdale Health Center is located at located at 985 Taylor St. in Conyers.

Swine flu vaccines also will be given during weekdays at health department clinics in Lawrenceville, Norcross, Buford, Conyers and Covington. Call ahead for hours and availability.
