Chamber names Stricklands Citizens of the Year
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce last week honored Clyde and Sandra Strickland as Citizens of the Year.
Clyde Strickland founded Metro Waterproofing Inc. in 1972. The company has grown to some 240 employees and is the largest restoration and waterproofing company in the Southeast.
Over the last decade, the Stricklands have become Gwinnett County’s most active philanthropists. In recent years they have made substantial donations to Gwinnett Medical Center, the HOPE Clinic, the Rainbow Village homeless shelter and the American Cancer Society.
