3 men arrested for allegedly soliciting sex in Buford Kmart restroom
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Three Gwinnett County men were arrested Friday for allegedly soliciting sex in a Kmart restroom.
"Investigators received a citizen complaint regarding lewd acts occurring between adult males within the men's public restroom" at the Kmart in the 1600 block of Buford Highway in Buford, Gwinnett police Cpl. David Schiralli said Tuesday.
"Investigators were able to make contact with a suspect via the internet," Schiralli said, and the suspect arranged a meeting with an undercover officer.
"When the undercover officer entered the restroom, he made contact with the suspect, and after a brief conversation, the suspect solicited the officer for a sex act," Schiralli said.
He said that two other males who were in the restroom advised that they were there for the same reason. All three were arrested and charged with loitering for the purpose of engaging in solicitation of sex acts in a public place. They were issued citations and released, Schiralli said.
They were identified as Jerry Lane Casper, 56, of Dacula, Alejandro Dearo, 37, of Dacula, and Kenneth David Butler, 44, of Buford.
