Georgia SAT scores

Georgia's average score on the SAT college admissions exam fell for the third consecutive year, according to results released Aug. 25, 2009.

The state's results dropped by six points to 1,460. The national average decreased by two at 1,509 -- 49 points higher than Georgia's average, according to the College Board, which administers the test. A perfect score is 2,400.

Scores are provided by the College Board. Some schools and school systems find errors in the data and ask for corrections from the College Board. Contact your local system officials to see if any corrections were made to their SAT scores.
