Voters will decide four legislative contests in runoff elections on Tuesday.
Election 2012: Across the nation
Democrats Donzella James and Torrey Johnson are battling to represent the 35th state Senate District in southwest Fulton County. Kasim Reed vacated the seat to run for mayor of Atlanta.
Also in Atlanta, Democrats Asha Jackson and Simone Bell are running to represent House District 58.
In west Georgia, Republicans Kip Smith and Steve Earles will face off in House district 129.
Independent Rusty Kidd faces a rematch with Democrat Darrell Black in the 141st House district in Milledgeville.
None of the races before voters will tip the balance of power in the state Legislature. Republicans hold comfortable majorities in both chambers.
