Map: New State Senate boundaries (updated)

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

On Thursday, Aug. 18, the Georgia Senate voted 35-18, with all Democrats present voting no, to approve new district lines for the 2012 elections. Every district in the state must be redrawn every 10 years following the Census to reflect shifting population.
