The previous record for the Georgia-Florida game was 213, set in 2004.
Twenty-two officers from the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, the Sheriff's Office and the University of North Florida concentrated enforcement on the areas around Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, Jacksonville Landing and RV City.
"It's always a focus, but this year we were really looking to partner with other agencies to make sure we could give full attention to this event," said Jenn Meale, a spokeswoman for the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco.
About 50 citations were issued on Friday, followed by 200 more on Saturday. Most of those arrested were over 18, Meale said. She could not say how many were students.
All of those cited were fined $65 and given a date to appear in court.
