Final mayoral debate Sunday

The top four candidates vying to be Atlanta’s next mayor will debate once more, for the last time Sunday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.

Sponsored by Channel 2 Action News and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the hour-long debate, will air on Channel 2 and will be commercial free.

Lisa Borders, Mary Norwood, Kasim Reed and Jesse Spikes will take questions from Channel 2 Anchor Jovita Moore, Political Reporter Lori Geary and Andre Jackson, editorial editor for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Channel 2’s John Pruitt will serve as moderator.

The AJC’s Jim Galloway will also be in attendance blogging live from the debate and on Twitter.

The hot button issues expected to be debated include public safety, police and fire department staffing, furloughs and the city’s budget.
