Flood victims hearing that FEMA has packed up, closed their doors and shipped off should not be worried.

FEMA has transitioned their disaster recovery centers into what they are now calling disaster loan outreach centers.

While FEMA representatives will still be available to answer questions, more of the focus is on the long-term recovery process which primarily comes from low interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration, said officials in a statement.

To have your questions answered or for continued assistance, call 1-800-659-2955 or visit www.disasterassistance.gov.
