Voters who live within the city of Atlanta will have from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. to vote for a new mayor Tuesday. This means that everyone who lives within the city limits of Atlanta, but resides in DeKalb or Fulton counties, can vote until 8 p.m.

Those voting everywhere else throughout metro Atlanta, where municipal elections are being held, will have from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

To cast a ballot, voters are required to provide proper identification. That can include: a Georgia driver's license; a voter identification card or other valid identification card issued by a branch, department, agency or entity of Georgia, any other state, or the United States; a U.S. passport; an employee identification card containing a photograph; a U.S. military identification card containing a photograph; or a tribal identification card containing a photograph.
