DeKalb Police have charged a 15-year-old boy with robbing and shooting a Chinese food delivery woman.

Police detained four juveniles on Tuesday for questioning about the Monday night attack. After interviews, officers arrested one of the teens on charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault, police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said.

Another teen was charged with drug possession and one was charged as a runaway, Parish said. The fourth juvenile was released.

However, police insist they plan on making additional arrests in the shooting of Qiu Xiufang.

The 46-year-old was shot once in the torso while delivering dinner from the Magic Wok to the Highland Run East apartments on Abberley Way near Stone Mountain. Xiufang, who owns the family-run restaurant, is in stable condition at Grady Memorial Hospital, Officer Jason Gagnon said.

Xiufang was shot while in her car in the apartment complex's parking lot a little after 8 p.m. "She fled the scene and went back to her job" two miles away on Memorial Drive, Gagnon said. Her daughter and son both work at the restaurant.

Staff writer Marcus K. Garner contributed to this report.
