Workers at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home are relieved now that one of their patients has been found.

Milton Darden went missing Sunday morning.

The last the 65-year-old Alzheimer’s patient had been seen was around 8:30 a.m.

Sometime after 3 p.m. Darden was found, said DeKalb Police spokesman Officer Jason Gagnon, hiding in the nursing home.

“He is safe and sound,” said Tom Collins, one of the nurses on duty. “We feel very good now to have found him.”

The nursing home is located at 4608 Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker.
