Lithonia mall collecting donated coats on Saturday

Individuals and groups can donate coats for needy children and adults on Saturday at the Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia.

The mall and U.S. Public Health Service Department will collect new and used coats from noon to 5 p.m. as part of the One Warm Coat program. Previously worn coats must be cleaned to be submitted.

The coat drive will benefit people in Atlanta area homeless shelters and needy schoolchildren.
