Georgia Perimeter will graduate Saturday the first student to complete a program that lets students earn a four-year degree in three years.

Catherine Cospelich will receive a bachelor in business administration from Georgia Perimeter College and Georgia Southwestern University. Students spend one and a half years at Georgia Perimeter and then transfer to Georgia Southwestern and take the remaining classes online. Students take more courses each semester and summer to finish faster.

Colleges started three-year programs to save students time and money.
