Emory University will host a free conference Monday focusing on how technology is affecting research and changing the way people learn.

The one-day event, "Knowledge Futures: Discontinuities, Disruptions and Possibilities," will look at how people study, teach, find information and conduct research in today's digital age. Panels will review the new models for scholarly work that have emerged as technology evolves.

Speakers include experts from Emory, Georgia Tech, Harvard University and others organizations.

The free event is open to the public, but registration is required. For more information go to: halleinstitute.emory.edu/Research/knowledge_futures/2010forum.html.
