Four more raw sewage spills were reported in DeKalb County Thursday, including 22,680 gallons into Nancy Creek.

The Nancy Creek spill, the largest of the spills, occurred in the 3400 block of Inman Drive in Atlanta from roots blocking a manhole, according to DeKalb water reports.

The county also reported two spills of under 10,000 gallons into the Peachtree Creek, including one at 4380 Ponce de Leon Ave. in Clarkson and at 1736 Jericho Court in Tucker.

The county also reported 4,320 gallons spilled into Honey Creek from a grease blockage on Cagle Street in Lithonia.

Last month, the federal Environmental Protection Agency mandated DeKalb upgrade its sewer system after the county reported more than 800 raw sewage spills in five years.
