DeKalb parents invited to Saturday schools conference
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
DeKalb County school officials will host an education conference for parents starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Avondale Middle School, 3131 Old Rockbridge Rd. in Avondale Estates.
The event will begin with a complimentary breakfast and runs through 12:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend.
Activities will include workshops about academic and school issues. Information will be available from local community agencies, programs and services. The county's Council of PTAs will also host a health fair during conference hours.
