People from Decatur’s neighborhood and condo associations and block groups – as well as those interested in starting such groups – are expected at a community meeting later this month.

The Decatur Neighborhood Alliance meeting will give people the change to exchange ideas and information with other neighborhood leaders and learn about crime prevention, volunteer opportunities and special events in the city. Members of the city’s Environmental Sustainability Commission will also be at the meeting.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. March 24 at the Decatur Fire Station #2, on Hill Street in Oakhurst.

To reserve a spot or for more information, call 678-553-6548 or e-mail leeann.harvey@decaturga.com.
