Award-winning Gospel singer performing at DeKalb benefit

A two-time winner of McDonald’s Gospel Soloist award will perform at a benefit concert Saturday in Decatur.
Those coming to see Gerard Placide at the Word Church International on Wesley Chapel Road will not pay a fee. Instead, concertgoers are to bring nonperishable food items that will be donated to Potter’s House, a food pantry that serves DeKalb County families.
