Talk radio is no longer the only outlet for metro Atlanta commuters opposed to President Barack Obama's policies.

Nine anti-Obama billboards are up around the metro area and more are on the way, said Tommy Newberry, spokesman for Billboards Against Obama,  started by a group of local businessman. A sample message from a sign on Spaghetti Junction: "Now It's Personal! America's Coming For You Congress! Vote Liberals Out in 2010!"

"It's a great way to use the free market to stop socialism," said Newberry, a Vinings entrepreneur. "Several hundred donors have contributed today alone, donating from $1 to $3200."

Already there's been significant interest from California and Texas residents. Expect the anti-Obama billboards to appear in the Golden State by the middle of next week, Newberry said.

Donors can choose between prepackaged messages, such as "If You're Not Outraged, You're Not Paying Attention" and "Stop Obama's Socialism," or create their own.

The billboards rent for between $2,500 and $3,500 monthly at locations including I-85 northbound and southbound outside the Spaghetti Junction, Peachtree Industrial north of I-285 and I-20 westbound between Stonecrest Mall and I-85.
